Developers have turned much of Florida into theme parks, luxury hotels and golf courses, transforming the landscape. They have also attracted millions of people who require sewer lines, highways and electricity.Right . . . I can smell NIMBY from here.
Environmentalists want to protect that resource using, ecology changing, carbon dioxide-spewing industry from offshore oil drilling.
